ROTR3 - Where/When are you staying thread

Please stay on topic with short answers so we can all see where fellow NELRC members will be.

Corie and myself will be coming up sat AM, doing dinner and staying at the Hampton and maybe roll out Sun mid afternoon.


Might come up Friday and stay at the hotel if the funds are available

we r staying at the hotel,if all goes well Friday and Saturday night.leaving out Sunday noonish

Brian, Lauren, and Kylie (the dog)
arriving Friday evening
staying - Hampton Inn
dinner - Buddy's log cabin dinner and awards saturday
Leaving after dinner Saturday

Coming up saturday A.M. Camping sat night, leaving Sunday after we are done on trails.

I am staying at home.

Lexi and I are camping Friday Night at Rausch. Wheel Saturday and depending on school shit may stay til Sunday. Will play it by ear.

I'm planning to be there Friday morning...

Well, my plans are changing. Lauren's work told her she had to be on call that weekend, so she's not coming. As of now, I'll probably camp. Although I think I'll hold off on cancelling the room just yet, until the weather report is sorted out. Not a huge fan of camping in the rain.

One thing I wanted to bring up, is to have everyone bring firewood if your camping. Pick up a bundle or 2 at a local store, hd, lowes, or find someone giving away pallets on craigslist. Running out of wood in november would suck.

Hmmmm...So, how serious are they about people needing 'reservations' for camping at RC? I know the office is only open Fri - Sun, and have left a voicemail and tried e-mail, but haven't received a response. Do I need to be concerned? I'll just sleep in the truck if necessary...

(Outside of ROTR people, I can't imagine there is going to be too much demand for camp sites in November...)

i have not bothered doing either... I'm just showing up. there are no real campsites. it's very primitive. i don't even think there is a hand pump. its more like an area of land you are allowed to camp in rather than an actual campsite.

Cool. Assuming I can't show up out there late Thursday night and pitch my tent, my plan is to leave Pittsburgh sometime around 3:00 AM and to be out there by 7:30 or 8:00 AM Friday.

I don't they would care if you camped there at all! I would take Jake up on his offer though. Probably get a bit lonely on the hill Thursday night. Trevor and Justin will probably be at the hotel Thursday night. Maybe someone over on D-Web is camping Thursday?

i would either camp right at rausch, or if you don't want to be a loner than go to echo down the hill for one night. then you can shower in the morning pack up and head to rausch in the morning. personally id rather get all the driving out of the way.
