anyone want to buy a gently used Discovery 2? Freshly washed interior and engine.....
fuck my life.
sooo everything must go. need to buy a car to get to work ASAP. paypal me (a gift so i dont have to pay a fee) and i will hold the part until the next outing and deliver it then or we can arrange to move it via NELRC part train. I have interest in nearly everything but only recieved money for one part. here is the list
SS Rear gate plate - Kase (paid) $250 sliders - Kerry $100 belly skid - Chad $150 snorkel - Brian F $35 d1 front and back wiper arms - Kevin
the bumper, winch and roof rack are going on my classic. that leaves
HD track rod and tie rod with TF steering damper $150 Columbia Overland dual battery tray $75

I'm assuming the name next to those parts are for people are going to buy those parts but if something goes wrong and they decide not to i'd like to hop second in line for the sliders and belly skid.
Sorry to here about the final news on the truck ed

Most of my stuff is POV video, but did manage about 6 pictures with my GoPro. This is one of the better ones as we were returning to camp Saturday before nightfall

honestly by the time the water popped over the hood i hit reverse and gunned it. sadly. i think gunning it just did more harm as i just dug into the sand and sunk deeper. you can see the truck is in reverse when i had to abandon ship

it was a place called frog pond or something. i thought it was winch hill. the entire park was pretty dry so i saw some dry spots and hit the first puddle i said oh man winch hill is pretty dry and i hit the second hole thinking i knew how deep it was thats why i didnt get out and check it... im not sure how deep it was at the deepest point but there was no way any land rover i have seen that would have made it through. before they pulled me out the water was 4 inches from the top of my windshield.
im going to build up my rangie although i will miss the disco. as billy said i have done loads of wheeling in that truck in the past 4 years.

Thanks AJ got your videos! Kev you think you can send me the best ones via dropbox? i don't have a youtube downloader on my computer. Fern go to dropbox.com and install it. it allows you to drag and drop files into a folder on your computer and then share them with certain people. my email for sharing the videos with me via dropbox.com is edtatton at hotmail dot com
starting a for sale thread with the parts list. found a few more that can be sold.

She had fun, she said it was "fun but not relaxing at all" so I might be able to convince her to come out again. I let her drive the truck out to her parents house (I haven't washed it yet) and she got a kick out of guys checking her out.
