| Ok so looks like for me I will be able to do Saturday and Sunday at AOAA. I'm leaving Colorado on the prior wednesday and it usually is a two day drive for me. So I'll most likely still be driving on friday. Depending on how much stuff I have I may just head right to AOAA, dunno what i'm bringing back this year because I just got a house out here. But count me in for Sat/Sun. | |

yeah, or at least give people the option too. camping at Rausch is free but then you will have to drive 45 mins to get to Anthracite in the early morning. Quite a few people expressed interest in camping near Anthracite on Friday night because they are not able to make Rausch during the day Friday

Thank you Brian. Once we get this information I will create the registration form, it will contain a mandatory waiver and fee for Anthracite. The waiver and fee for Rausch will be paid the day of on Friday if you decide to attend.

| Does anyone know if dogs are allowed in AOAA and/or the new campground? We have 2 small/mediums that always trail with us and are very well behaved. | |

| I will try and confirm you you about the dogs. I got a call back today, camping near anthracite will not be available this year. So it's looking like friday night at Rausch. We'll need to come up with a place for saturday night. | |

| Sunday has been scratched. REVISED SCHEDULEFriday May 17th- Rausch Creek Off Road Park. Saturday May 18th- AOAA http://www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.org/For Friday - you will pay and register at Rausch We will camp at Rausch (free but rough) there is a Mobil and Burger King down the street and a hotel is not far for those afraid of the outdoors. Saturday we convoy up to AOAA http://www.anthraciteadventure.com/As of now, AOAA is not officially open, so they are requiring guides again. We will be breaking it up into smaller groups this year, with a wider range of trails. AOAA is requiring all vehicles to be registered and insured, and to be able to provide proof of registration and insurance. The AOAA Authority has provided us with the following fee schedule for the weekend: $20 per driver Passengers are $10 each Payment via Check or Money order, payable to AOAA DO NOT BRING CASH All participants will be required to fill out a waiver form available here https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7lNJcn57hzvcUZxLU1uS0RGSE0/edit?usp=sharing | |

| Dogs are good, as long as you don't let them roam around. That campground looks good. I hadn't seen that one when looking. It's only 20 minutes from the trailhead, and 10 minutes from the wayside inn. Ed, d you want to try staying there friday night? http://www.irishvalleycampground.com/I'm also fine with staying over saturday night, and heading home sunday morning. | |

I'm also fine with staying over saturday night, and heading home sunday morning. not a bad idea. especially for the folks who are only going to Anthracite on Saturday. I didnt see that campsite either on the map. Looks like it's under 10 miles from the trailhead. wonder if its $25 per tent or if we can fit two tents on a site and not pay for each tent like camp a while.

| we have good options at irish valley campground..there is a group area where we can all stay which results in approx $5 per adult...or there is a double site that they allow a couple of tents and the 16' that our friends are coming with...really liked the feeling of flexibility that they put out when i spoke with them...but at the same time, it is good if we show some form of organization/responsibility to insure we are welcomed back! so the more who respond about needing/wanting to camp, the better!!! keep it coming and spread the info! | |
