NELRC Second ANNUAL - May 17-19th 2013

We will be returning to Rausch Creek and Anthractie Outdoor Adventure Area (AOAA) for the NELRC Second Annual.

Sunday has been scratched.

REVISED SCHEDULE
Friday May 17th- Rausch Creek Off Road Park.
Saturday May 18th- AOAA

For Friday - you will pay and register at Rausch
Rausch Creek fees are as follows:

Membership fee: $15 for drivers and passengers
Access fees: $35 per driver
$7 per passenger age 16 and older.

Camping for FRIDAY and SATURDAY nights Call to reserve a space, CASH ONLY upon arrival. (570) 259-3395.

Irish Valley campground is located 15 mins from Shamokin (AOAA) on Irish Valley Road, just off of 61.

Group Tent area -
Cost $5.00 per person. No charge for children 5 and under.

Pull thru - Easy access for campers. includes water and electric hookups. Cost $30.00 for 4 people. Additional people on site cost $5./adult, $3./child, 5 and under/free.

As of now, AOAA is not officially open, so they are requiring guides again. We will be breaking it up into smaller groups this year, with a wider range of trails. AOAA is requiring all vehicles to be registered and insured, and to be able to provide proof of registration and insurance.

The AOAA Authority has provided us with the following fee schedule for the weekend:
$20 per driver
Passengers are $10 each

Payment via Check or Money order, payable to AOAA
DO NOT BRING CASH

All participants will be required to fill out a waiver form available here

Sadly, as of yesterday, I will be unable to attend. I can't get friday night off from work, as the person who was supposed to work for me pulled out, and now I looks like I will be moving that weekend.

Jensen and I are going to try to camp Thursday night at Irish. Then we can have of our camping gear unloaded for Friday. Anyone else want to join?

u r now! i have been speaking w/ cheryl at irish...if you would like to set up thurs nite in the group area, so you dont need to relocate to be with everyone, just tell her thats what you'd like to do. she seems super accommodating and nice. wish we could join u but we r arriving fri evening...soooooooooooooooo looking forward to this coming w/e!!!!!!!

i was thinking of camping at Rausch Thursday night, i know randy said he might. it all depends. problem is it takes me 4 hours to get out there so if I do it Thursday at least i can sleep a full night, otherwise i have to wake up at 4am to get out there by 9 on Friday. Have to see what shape the truck is in.

We are good for Thursday night. We are supposed to call about an hour out to make sure she will be there. Jensen and I will likely be first so I will get the details. If you come Thursday night and no one is in the building, just come to the group site.

Is there a time I need to call as in 48 hours prior or something for camping for AOAA on friday night. I won't get there until late at night, say 11-12ish. So I doubt anyone would be in the office when I get there.

Bring your diff guards gay-boy. We can throw them on in half an hour and you might need them for the weekend. They will be junk at the end of the weekend but at least you won't pollute our PA soil with gear oil.

If you get chilly on Friday night there is always room in my sleeping bag for you.
