Im willing to drive a bit further to avoid poor customer service. I guess that just means I'm not lazy like most people...

There are two positives about that dump, you don't have to get on the highway with your tyres aired down and the fact we can all be in a big circle... Camp a while had better showers and bathrooms and is cheaper but the highway noise is bad unless we get a different area than we had.

Yeah that is ridiculous. So did anyone get their deposit back or did she just hold yours? If no one got it back then that is the final draw in their scam. Tell camp-a-while we would like an area for our group to hang out similar to this place. They are close enough that they are most likely competing and hopefully can make something happen for our group.

she gave me my $10 back but wouldnt give me yours. I yelled back at her. i said if i was trying to rip you off wouldn't i sneak myself in? why would i pay and try and sneak 4 other people in? ill talk to the people at camp-a-while and see what we can do.

here is the park map if we rented that back corner of RV spots we would be good to go. They are $34 each but you could easily fit 3 or 4 tents in a spot...

Really we should just stay at Rausch. They have porta johns, what else do we need. We don't need showers when we camp at Bodine, why spend the extra money, and have the worries, when we can stay on property.

we talked about this on the Sunday of our last trip, the problem is the camping area has literally no shade and is dusty and dirty. It just wouldn't be a pleasant place to camp. Dana had a good idea and that was to talk to the management at Rausch and see if they would let us clear a small area that that actually has some grass and is not on the parking lot, and not just for us but for everyone to use... i agree that staying there is easiest especially when stuff breaks we don't have to tow rigs around town.

i think its me you and Jake definite, im going to talk to Eric at AB and see if he is coming and possibly one other person.

Thats gonna be way to far for me right now. 6mpg and 70 mph top speed. Maybe once I get a pickup an trailer.

Yeah I'm using this trip as motivation to fix my exhaust leak. Thinking about taking the rack off too so I can maybe get a little better gas mileage.

I will most likely be in Albany already. I'm going to leave my house around 12 and am going to grab some food with some old friends. I can meet you guys when you get near Albany. Just txt me and ill hop on the highway. Then we can do the rest of the journey together just have to take the Northway a few more exits. I'm going to send out an email later today letting everyone know whats going on. Should we plan a food menu so we don't all bring the same crap?
