Mike and I went back and forth about that Asfir plow axle guard he put on and mangled at the conclave. I'd go with Rovertym or tactical rovers guard. Pinion protection is pointless on a 5" lift because your pinion angle is turned up high and out of the way.
I can vouch for the Rovertym, I have them welded to my axle and they held up well to my abuse. Yea or cut a sewer cap in half and have two diff guards

x2 Aluminum is great for lots of applications, but diff guards aren't one of them. I've beat my Southdown aluminum rear diff guard to death and am replacing it soon...

Love my Rovertym in front. Just get a professional level welder to install it. I actually have a shallow dent in mine and it is fine as is the diff. MAN UPPPP It's only nearly 1/2" thick! Here's my poor SG diff guard with 6 months of use. Dented it at the skull haha [img] [/img] And the new diff protection..

I know there was skill involved too, but I think you were pretty lucky on that 'Snakebite' trail, Ed... I'd think about steering guards and HD steering rods in addition to a front diff guard before you go back to those black trails. I came out of them with a bent HD tie rod, Chad had a buckled stock tie rod, my front diff guard was wrecked, my slider's mounting tabs were bent, and the body/frame mounts they connect to are bent.

| Dude Joel has 2 sets of blings on d-90 for $240 each and RTE rear shock mounts. I wouldnt buy the RTE springs though they are too stiff and not flexy | |
