Aluminum is great for lots of applications, but diff guards aren't one of them. I've beat my Southdown aluminum rear diff guard to death and am replacing it soon...

Love my Rovertym in front. Just get a professional level welder to install it. I actually have a shallow dent in mine and it is fine as is the diff.

That sewer cap should work great in the cornfields.

diff guards are low on the list. i made it thru a bunch of blues and a mean black on my disco with no diff guards. not to say i wont put them on the rangie but i need to get the suspension sorted first.

I know there was skill involved too, but I think you were pretty lucky on that 'Snakebite' trail, Ed...

I'd think about steering guards and HD steering rods in addition to a front diff guard before you go back to those black trails. I came out of them with a bent HD tie rod, Chad had a buckled stock tie rod, my front diff guard was wrecked, my slider's mounting tabs were bent, and the body/frame mounts they connect to are bent.

already have an HD steering setup on it. i cruised thru that black and came back to take video. sorry you guys suffered so much carnage. i didnt think it was that much worse then 19-b we did earlier in the day.

Fed Ex says my bumper will be arrive tomorrow! have some cash now that Kevin came and picked up the roof rack and stuff. almost ready to start ordering lift and stuff. just waiting on a few others to pay for their goods.

Dude Joel has 2 sets of blings on d-90 for $240 each and RTE rear shock mounts. I wouldnt buy the RTE springs though they are too stiff and not flexy

I also have a dent on the bottom of my diff guard where I got over enthusiastic with the gas peddle while we were going through that rock course.
