| Well I was under my truck today adjusting the washer set up on the lower shock mounts. Noticed my rear diff guard was getting pretty rusty again and I started to notice a boring black rattle can/kbs trend going on under my truck so I decided to give Betsy a brand new bright red/orange thong. Need to pick up a coupld of the top bolts from home depot but on the way there one of my coil packs on the VW went so I decided it would be better if we turned around. Hopefully all will be fixed tomorrow! | |

Nah that's a strap on. The qt had to wait until I relocated the steering stabilizer to the front. Going to get that done next.

| Hey Jake, congratulations on the new house. Thats some nice looking property there. I was wondering when your move was happening. I'll definitely sign up for the first ever Jake100 Rover Show and Trials. That driveway looks like a nice place to install my lift Friggin shops around here all want to charge between $500 and $600 to install. I've watched Justin's YouTube on the TerraFirma install and he made it look too easy, I know I'll dive into that front end and never get it on the road again. Thinking I might reach out to Trevor and see if they let me help install it at thier shop (and pay them for the learning experience). Would rather pay someone I know knows what they are doing than some local shop thats guessing just slightly better than me. Also would like to get some grease on my hands, just dont want to completely screw it up. | |

hmm I will let you know if something comes up where I would need a lift. On another note I live close to a harbor freight.. I'm scared to go because no matter how cheap all their tools are I know I will still end up with a big bill.

| luckily im going to be able to fit all my gear in my wagon for the wedding next weekend so i won't have to take the truck up to Watertown (600 miles RT).
In case you don't know I DJ weddings on the side, it's the only way i can afford to live in this area. I just bought a new system and it is small enough where I don't think I will need to take my truck to another gig so my truck is literally just a trail rig now... only if i had a way to tow it!
the real test on my electronics will be going up to mettowee. I plan on going up on Friday and stopping at AB so i can pick up my bumper. I could use some help at camp that night getting it on. Can't be hard I think it's only 4 bolts.

| Take your stock bumper off at home before you leave. that way you can just bolt on the new one and plug the lights in. You also need to take off the trailer hitch to fit it, as the new bumper uses those holes too. | |

yes roll up to Mettowee with a naked rear. I hope I have my overheating issue fixed by then. I picked up a nearly new rad (after market with like 5k miles on it) from Randy. Also picked up a water pump and new lower hose. Turns out it isnt my water pump. I pulled it off last night and it worked perfect. I need a new gasket which Randy should be dropping off later this week. Picked up a new set of little springs too 3" RTE's . Thanks again to Brian for coming to help me get them off the truck. I just need to KBS them and get a new front shaft and I will be good to go. Going to run them with 1" spacers if they fit.

| Getting stoked about getting my TF's on this weekend! It's going to feel like a new ride.
Jake - Is there anything else i need other than what was sent with the kit (shocks and springs)? Should i get new towers for the front or any kind of spacer, etc? New bolts of any kind, 'just in case'? Anything else i should replace for grins and giggles while I've got all the wheels off (brake pads, sensors, etc.)? Just want to make sure I have time to get any additional parts in if i might need them.
