| so my tranny oil temp sensor was just disconnected... so i plugged it back in but the light is still on. going to clean it out with some eletrical cleaner and see if that helps. i hope i don't have to change that because from what i hear it's a major PITA. good news is it's not that expensive. Even from the dealer it's only $92, which i consider cheap in dealer terms. | |

Hmm I wonder how it came out in the first place. Good luck fixing it. I need to take a look at my starter soon. I ordered a new one because Marty had them for $30. I didnt have a chance to check the connections yet though so it might be that..

What PA lift laws? http://www.liftlaws.com/pennsylvania_lift_laws.htmThis is what google brought up. Brians discovery has 5" RTE springs and 2 inch spacers. I saw it in person for the first time this weekend and it is incredible. His bumper has to be 3 ft off the ground lol

What PA lift laws? I gotta register it as a 10000 lb GVW truck because of my frame height. No one locally will inspect it because my frame/bumper height is 34" on 33" tires. Most everyone said theyll inspect it once i get a truck tag on it. Biggest problem with my height is the bottom of my bumper is even with the bottom of my frame where as most bumpers are just a little bit lower then the frame. I already got a couple tickets in Lancaster city from my truck sitting to high also and I really dont feel like dealing with that anymore.

| Installed Brians 2" lowered rear shock mounts tonight. You dont need to take the tire off to install them I just did it so I could snap some good pictures. Mounted right up. They have the option to use with Bilsteins or use the spacer for OME and other larger bushings. They bolt right up and give you a heavy duty set of shock mounts with 2" extra rear drop. Now to figure out how to do this in the front too | |

Looks good cant wait to put my set in. Who wants to come help me figure out why my truck wont start tomorrow? I think it might be related to the whole pine barrens fiasco with the clicking relay. The other day the truck decided it didnt want to start... Got under truck and *lightly* tapped solenoid with hammer. turned it over it hesitated but started. Sounded like solenoid didnt want to turn. Used this method to start it twice and now it seems to be done. Pulled the heat shield back but couldnt really see much since it was dark and it wasnt completely off. Any suggestions? Tomorrow I am digging in and figuring it out. I think it's probably the ground wire because the solenoid isnt even clicking like it is getting power. Either what or maybe starter relay?? Either way I have a starter at home and will be getting my hands on a relay shortly.

| I put the shock plates in yesterday - they work perfectly! You do have install the pieces in a different order but it went smoothly.
I put the shock in the spring then guided them into place. Then I lift the shock up and put the top nut on. Then I put the shock plate on the bottom of the shock while the shock was hanging. You have to work inside the spring but it is not too bad. Then just slide the spacer and stock spring perch under the spring.
I also got one slider on, the winch mounted and the front diff guard on. Gotta finish up this week!

| All good to know. So you cant attach it to the shock and drop it down through the spring? It's wider than the inside of the springs inner diameter? I can see how you did all this. You also owe us pics once you get yours done. | |

No, you install the spring and shock together. Attach the shock at the top then attach the plate to the bottom of the hanging shock. You have to do this while the shock is hanging in the spring. The plate is much smaller than the I.D. of the spring. Shit, I'll probably be "there" when you put yours on since we'll be neighbors. I did not take time to take pics as I am against the wall to get all this done by Friday.

| So I spoke with Trevor and he recommended I take my mounting bolts off the radiator and tip it back to see if debris had got trapped in front of the radiator. Sure enough there was probably about an inch or so of leaves and twigs and pines needles... If this is the answer then I would be shocked but I am hopeful.

Well drove the truck a bit today but it is also a lot cooler and didn't take it on the highway at all. But drove it enough to see if it would act up and it's acting fine again.
